The Yeshiva year begins on August 29, and ends June 18th, with a month break from Purim to Passover.
Yes. during Sukkot the Yeshiva is off for Chol Hamoed, and there is a Chanuka break. As well from Purim to Pesach.
An out shabbat is when no meals are provided by the Yeshiva on that Shabbat, Usually the boys get invited to eat by friends or family living in israel. A lot of times the Rabbis from Yeshiva will host boys for Shabbat as well.
The Rabbi in Yeshiva encourages boys to expand their social circles and be inclusive and open to meeting new friends, we tell boys to pick one boy that they want to room with, and then we work off that.

Depending on room each room has around 3-4 boys per room.
Yes. The yeshiva will set you up with a place to nearby that has a sports complex, gym and swimming pool as well.
1: Shabbat clothing suits, shirts, ties nice shoes etc.
2: Outdoor water trips: Bathing suits , sandals crocs, short sleeve shirts etc. hiking shoes or sneakers ( they will get dirty )
3: Bet Midrash clothing: just like you would wear in school
4: Sleep clothing: for the dorms sweats, comortable clothing etc.
5: winter clothes: We do have winter in Yerushalayim, Sweaters winter coat, scarf, hoodies etc.

One of the best advantages of being in Yeshiva in Israel, is that you learn to form amazing bonds and relationships, everyone benefits from that. besides the point most friends learning in Israel for the year all meet up during the course of the year many times.
